Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A position is available for a School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional needs of students within a school setting located in Minot Air Force Base, ND. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and students to assess and address learning and behavioral challenges, ensuring students receive appropriate services and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and social needs
- Develop intervention plans and provide counseling services tailored to individual student requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and academic success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to special education evaluations
- Maintain detailed and confidential records while complying with relevant state and federal regulations
- Travel as needed to support students across multiple school sites
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work independently
- Willingness to travel to various school locations as required
