Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of recent MRI experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and Level II trauma experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Acute care teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center
- MRI department with Siemens MRI equipment
- Work evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
- Weekend and on-call shifts are optional
- Floating within hospital or to affiliated hospitals may be required
- Adult patient population in a high-acuity setting
- Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR; Epic experience is preferred
- Performs MRI scans in an acute care, high-acuity environment
- Must be comfortable floating to affiliated hospitals as needed
- Pre-start modules are required and must be completed prior to beginning the assignment
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Return staff must be gone for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- No parking fees for staff
- Less than 100-mile radius local candidates accepted for radiology positions
- Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off during the contract
- Scrub color not specified; confirm with assignment details

- Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT-MR, ARRT-R, and BLS certifications required
- Level II trauma hospital experience required
- Experience with Siemens MRI systems required
- Must provide at least one supervisor reference for consideration
- If applicable, current valid state license required
- Fingerprinting required per Minnesota state regulations
