Mercy Circle, a premiere Catholic Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our mission-driven leadership team.
At Mercy Circle, we provide faith-based, person-centered care in a supportive and positive work environment. The DON will be supported by two experienced RN managers and a cohesive interdisciplinary team, and will report directly to the Executive Director, with additional guidance from the corporate clinical leadership team.
The DON will (list is not all-inclusive):
- Oversee nursing services across all levels of living in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated nursing staff committed to excellence in resident care.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic, person-centered approach.
- Uphold Mercy Circle’s values of Respect, Hospitality, Compassion, Stewardship and Integrity.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in Illinois.
- Current CPR certification.
- Previous DON or senior nursing leadership experience in long-term care, assisted living, or senior living.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Dedication to Catholic health care values and resident-centered care.
