Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages.
- Interpret spoken language in various settings such as medical appointments, legal proceedings, social work interviews, and other situations where language barriers exist.
- Translate written documents, such as medical records or legal documents, from one language to another.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information.
Experience:
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Arabic and English languages is required.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English and at least one other language.
- Strong listening and comprehension skills.
