We are looking for a full-time Print Operator to join our growing team on 1st and 2nd shift. Responsible for setup, running and troubleshooting of the HP PageWide C500 Press and/or HP Scitex 17000 and 15500 corrugated press.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate digital print systems to produce high quality products.
- Verify colors by matching customer requirements per job
- Match proof with sample to ensure quality standards achieved throughout the job.
- Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform light machine maintenance.
- Coordinate raw materials required for daily workload.
- Accurately report and record daily production and scrap to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper material handling and loading; maintain clean working environment, practice safe working habits.
- Additional duties as necessary.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of various types of printing systems for digital print required.
- 1 year of digital print experience required.
Skills/Knowledge
- Computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skill.
- Ability to multitask and work in a face paced environment with minimal errors.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Physical/Work Requirements
- Work safely and follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
- For all on-the-job injuries or accidents, must notify manager/supervisor immediately.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to regularly sit or stand for extended periods of time.
