Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse CVOR Scrub – Florida

Start Date: April 20, 2026
Location: Davie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 shifts); cardiac call required (minimum 6 shifts per month, may increase to 10 based on staffing needs); weekend coverage includes 24-hour shifts

Highlights:

• Work in a 230-bed short-term acute care teaching facility with 18 OR beds and average daily census of 55-60
• CVOR scrub role with opportunity to participate in diverse cardiac and general surgical cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled
• Epic charting system in place
• Free parking provided; smoke-free facility
• Participate in clinical education as part of a teaching environment
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience with scrub experience required (candidate will work in scrub capacity)
• Current Florida RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications (must be active at time of submittal)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test required (nicotine-free candidates only)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Willingness to complete non-billable pre-start and annual modules (average 6-15 hours)
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront with application
