Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
- Observe and document children’s progress and communicate with parents as needed.
- Follow all daycare policies, state licensing regulations, and health & safety guidelines.
- Assist with daily routines such as meals, nap time, diapering, and potty training (as applicable).
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children (daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred).
- ECE degree or CDA preferred.
- Passion for early childhood development and education
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
