Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports containing recommendations after conducting the necessary analysis for consideration and presentation to executives, committees, and Board Directors, as required.
- Review operating practices and procedures to determine whether improvements can be made in areas such as workflow, reporting procedures, or expenditures. Make recommendations for improvements when necessary.
- Establish and oversee policies and procedures for office processes.
- Track and monitor department vehicle fleet usage, assignment and related expenditures.
- Monitor department procurement processes, including requisitions; purchase orders and receiving reports ensuring expenditures are in-line with approved budget and alert department leadership of anomalies.
- Monitor and manage administrative files, databases and document control logs.
- Monitor and manage internal Safety compliance.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Perform some administrative duties and complete projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties, as assigned
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree, a plus
Work Experience and Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years’ office administrator/office management experience
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products preferred
Testing:
- Drug screening, as permitted by, and consistent with, applicable law.
Physical Requirements:
Persons performing service in this position classification may routinely exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This type of work will involve regular walking or standing for extended periods of time. It may involve stooping or bending. Handling and working with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.
