DFI currently has an open Inspector position as a consultant providing service to Baltimore County DPW.

The ideal applicants will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in water or sewer systems.

The applicant must have thorough knowledge of construction methods used to remove and replace existing aged supply systems. This knowledge shall include understanding bypass systems, rehabilitation, relining, water sample collection, valve operation, shutdown notifications, valve installation, pipe laying, restraint systems, fire hydrants, pressure testing, chlorination, flushing, and service connections. NICET or similar certification is desirable and should be noted and supported in the applicant's professional resume. NASSCO certification is also a strong plus.

Resumes shall document relevant experience, certifications, and references. The applicant may be subject to annual background checks by owner agencies and must have and maintain a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
