Our practice is growing, and we are looking for a skilled Surgical Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is eager to contribute to our mission of delivering the highest standard of foot and ankle care.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support our operating room. This role goes beyond standard surgical tech duties — the right candidate will be responsible for 2-3 surgical cases per day while also managing intake, sterilization, OR turnover, and overall efficiency of the surgical suite.
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday role (no nights, weekends, or holidays), making it an excellent opportunity for a surgical tech looking for stability, competitive compensation, and the chance to play a central role in a tight-knit surgical team.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures (equipment, instruments, supplies).

Scrub in and assist the surgeon during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.

Assist in handling patient intake and preoperative preparation.

Manage sterilization of instruments and equipment according to standards.

Perform room turnover and maintain readiness between cases.

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

Collaborate with the surgeon and medical team for seamless case flow.
Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; NY state requirements must be met.

Minimum 2–3 years of operating room experience (orthopedic, podiatric, or outpatient surgery preferred).

Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, instrumentation, and surgical procedures.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities: scrubbing, intake, sterilization, and OR turnover.

Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable.

Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 DOE
