Hours & Schedule: Normal Business Hours
Work Environment: The primary work location is a general clinical office environment with typical office noise levels.
Salary / Hourly Rate: $50,000 - $60,000 annually

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Audiology Technician supports Audiologists by performing delegated audiology-related tasks. This role provides technical assistance to patients, including troubleshooting hearing instruments and assistive listening devices, while ensuring a high level of patient care across all age groups from neonate to geriatric populations. The Audiology Technician also maintains strong relationships with patients, vendors, and clinical staff.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support Audiologists in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and clinical protocols
- Perform hearing screenings and prepare patients for diagnostic testing
- Prepare and sanitize exam rooms between patient visits and ensure adequate supply levels
- Document patient encounters and assist with report preparation
- Educate patients on the proper use and care of hearing aids and assistive devices
- Power down and maintain clinical equipment at the end of each day
- Track equipment and supply orders to ensure timely availability for patient appointments
- Maintain accurate clinic records related to hearing aids, earmolds, repairs, and inventory
- Provide technical support to patients experiencing issues with hearing devices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient clinic operations
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience in an audiology or ENT clinic preferred
- Experience with hearing aids and dispensing programs preferred
- Working knowledge of the auditory system and auditory rehabilitation
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding and medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and clinic needs
