Scientist (materials science, raw material characterization, hplc, gc, ms, ftir, xrd, laser diffraction, etc.)

Global Pharmaceutical Company

Long Term Contract (ongoing, no end date)

Pay up to $39/hr

1. BS or MS with few years of experience
2. Raw Material Characterization experience with solid technical knowledge on physical testing, particle morphology and polymorphic screening such as (Density, Sieve Analysis, Laser Diffraction (Malvern), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Powder Flow, X-Ray Diffraction, DSC and TGA);
3. Ability to execute compendial testing with minimal guidance.
4. Author technical reports used by cross-functional partners.
5. Well organized and able to execute across multiple parallel workstreams with competing priorities.
6. Ability to execute against challenging deadlines.
7. Preferred but not required: Chromatography (HPLC, SEC/GPC, GC, IC), Spectroscopy (FTIR, Raman and MS).
