Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring at least one year of ICU nursing experience and a valid OK or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a hospital setting
- Provides care for pediatric patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
- Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week
- Patient assignments involve direct care, monitoring, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide nursing care for a group of assigned pediatric patients, including documenting interventions and patient responses
- Administer medications and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
- Assist physicians with exams and minor diagnostic procedures
- Interact with patients and families to communicate care plans and hospital procedures
- Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
- Adhere to hospital and department policies regarding patient care and safety

- Active RN license from Oklahoma or a valid multistate compact (eNLC) RN license
- At least one year of pediatric ICU or equivalent RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Current American Heart Association certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
