Job Overview
HTF Staffing is seeking a qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in a school-based setting in Beach Park, IL. This role involves working with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in a Resource Special Education environment.
Assignment Details
- Position: Special Education Teacher
- Grade Levels: K–5
- Caseload: Approximately 15 students
- Schedule: 8:25 AM – 4:00 PM
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
End Date: June 30, 2026 - Setting: Resource Special Education
- Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver support in a resource classroom setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Special Education endorsement (LBS1 preferred)
- Prior experience in a school-based Special Education role preferred
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
