Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
This position plays a critical role in driving the expansion of heavy line construction equipment sales for Peak JCB and establishing JCB as a full competitor in the region. The Territory Sales Manager will lead the effort to grow market share across Utah, while also supporting opportunities in Idaho and Montana, by developing new customer relationships, managing key accounts, and delivering equipment solutions that help contractors succeed.
This role is more than traditional equipment sales—it is an opportunity to build the JCB heavy equipment brand in a market that is in need of a fresh option to support heavy-equipment customers. The Territory Sales Manager will work directly with contractors, fleet owners, and business leaders to introduce JCB’s heavy line machines, create new opportunities, and position Peak JCB as a trusted long-term partner.
Success in this role requires a highly driven, competitive, and entrepreneurial professional who enjoys winning new business, working in the field, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and willing to travel across territories while actively pursuing opportunities to grow equipment and aftermarket sales.

Responsibilities:
- Develop a list of potential heavy line equipment potential buyers and establish relationships and spread information regarding the JCB heavy line options and pricing.
- Create and maintain a positive working relationship with all current JCB customers with heavy line potential, with the ability to sell service and parts to customers.
- Initiate calls on a daily basis to current and new customers. Cold calls are required.
- Improve customer experience and business performance through product knowledge of the construction equipment industry.
- Maintain a daily and weekly customer contact list of actions through salesforce.com.
- Meet monthly sales goals for sales, service and parts.
- Travel throughout assigned territory. This is an outside sales position.
- Work with the service and parts departments to ensure they are executing commitments to customers.
- Provide weekly status updates to ownership on successes and challenges being faced.
- Always considers updates and developments to ensure ongoing efficiencies and development of the department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Sales and customer service skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Organization and mathematical skills to manage inventory, pricing and estimates
- Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes loud environment.
- Leadership skills to ensure the smooth operation of the parts department.
- Mechanical and parts knowledge and experience sufficient to work closely with parts in inventory.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in construction equipment sales.
- Engagement with heavy line construction equipment and industry.
- Must be willing to spend no less than 75% of their time working directly with customers in the field.
- Must be highly goal oriented and self-motivated.
