Job Description1.Helping clients develop the necessary skills to change unhealthy behaviors and combat their phobias successfully.
2.Acting as a mediator between clients and their families, friends and careers.
3.Analyzing patients’ behavioral patterns to diagnose mental health disorders.
4.Developing suitable treatment programs based on patients' diagnoses.
5.Educating younger patients’ parents and teachers on using play to improve communication issues.
6.Making detailed observation notes on each patient and be open to discussion of treatment plans and goals.
7.Develop individual and group therapy models with patients having similar experiences to circumvent anxiety and phobias.
Behavioral Therapist Requirements
1.Master's degree in psychology, applied behavioral science, or related field.
2.State license to practice behavior therapy.

She has over 20 years of experience caring for patients (presently only 3 years and above in this office) in the south and western suburbs of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Dr.Shastri has a special interest in preventive screenings, treating chronic illnesses, occupational healthcare, and urgent care medicine and is able to do minor surgical procedures like suturing minor lacerations in the office. She believes in treating the patient as a whole and mental wellbeing is the cornerstone of wellness. We are looking for someone to join our small team of professionals who want to make a change in the lives of people around us.
