Job DescriptionJob Title: Cleanroom Technician (Entry Level)Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleanroom Technician to join our team. This entry-level position involves operating molding, assembly, or packaging equipment according to product specifications, performing visual inspections, packaging and labeling products, and maintaining cleanroom standards. The role requires working night shifts from 6 pm to 6 am, with initial training from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm for one week.
Responsibilities
- Operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment as required per product specifications.
- Package and label products per customer specifications.
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Report identified visual defects to the Cell Leader.
- Enter daily production and scrap data into the BMS.
- Complete production and workstation documentation as required.
- Move products to designated areas in WIP/airlocks.
- Order components through SAP from the warehouse and scan WIP components with an RF gun.
- Supply assembly machines with components.
- Complete LRPs, including opening and closing of lots, ensuring all paperwork is error-free.
- Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to 5S standards daily/weekly/monthly.
- Participate in Lean initiatives and projects to improve processes.
- Provide suggestions and take an active role in process improvements to eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO standards, health and safety requirements, GMP, and standard work procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Willingness to wear GMP attire.
- Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift.
- Ability to stand and be on feet for the entire 12-hour shift.

Work Environment
The work environment involves a cleanroom setting in a contract manufacturing facility, primarily producing products for the medical industry. The company operates in Buffalo Grove across two buildings and has a brand new site in Libertyville.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
