Position Summary
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality care to Veterans. This role focuses on patient-centered care, preventive health, and effective management of chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient exams and document findings in the VA’s electronic health record system (VISTA/CPRS)
- Develop and implement patient management plans in collaboration with the care team
- Communicate outcomes, policies, and procedures with the Medical Director
- Complete clinical reminders to ensure patients remain up to date
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing and nurse practitioner program (MSN required)
- Board-certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted state license and DEA registration
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- At least 1 year of clinical practice preferred
