Job DescriptionMatch Staffing is hiring a dependable Fryer Operator to support production operations in a fastpaced foodprocessing environment in Spartanburg. This role is responsible for safely operating industrial fryers, monitoring product quality, and maintaining consistent cooking standards throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Fryer Operation — Set up, operate, and monitor industrial fryers to ensure proper temperature, timing, and product flow.
- Quality Monitoring — Inspect product appearance, texture, and color to maintain quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance — Follow all foodsafety, sanitation, and equipmentsafety procedures.
- Production Documentation — Record batch data, temperatures, and production counts accurately.
- Team Collaboration — Work closely with line leads, QA, and other operators to maintain workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in food production, machine operation, or industrial equipment preferred
- Ability to work in hot environments and stand for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating and cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP or Food Safety Knowledge
- Prior experience operating fryers or thermal processing equipment
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
Schedule & Pay
- Fulltime, onsite in Spartanburg
- Pay is starting at $18.00 per hour
- Hours are 8am until 6pm or 7pm depends on when shift is finished
