As an Experienced Preschool Teacher, you will:
- Curriculum Design & Instruction — Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with state standards and school philosophy.
- Classroom Leadership — Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to assistant teachers and aides; maintain a cohesive teaching team.
- Child Development & Assessment — Observe, assess, and document children’s progress across developmental domains; adapt instruction to individual needs.
- Behavior Guidance — Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to support positive behavior and social development.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
- Family Communication — Lead parent‑teacher conferences and maintain ongoing communication about children’s progress, needs, and behavior.
- Program & School Support — Participate in meetings, collaborate with other departments, and represent the school to stakeholders when needed
Do You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- State teaching certification or license in early childhood education (varies by state).
- 2+ years of preschool classroom experience, including experience leading or mentoring staff.
- Knowledge of child development, developmentally appropriate practices, and early learning standards.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
