CLINICAL NURSING MANAGER – HIGH‑END SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY (NEEDHAM, MA)

A LARGE, UPSCALE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY IN NEEDHAM, MA IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED CLINICAL NURSING MANAGER TO JOIN OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM. THIS ROLE OVERSEE'S RESIDENT CARE DELIVERY, CLINICAL QUALITY, AND NURSING STAFF PERFORMANCE WITHIN A LUXURY SENIOR LIVING ENVIRONMENT.


SALARY RANGE: $118,000-130,000

• BSN REQUIRED

• HOME HEALTH CLINICAL NURSING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

COMPENSATION

SALARY RANGE: $118,000 – $130,000, COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.


CLINICAL MANAGER, HOME SUPPORT

Location: Needham, MA

Position Summary

A not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Clinical Manager has primary responsibility to oversee the Private Home Care/Home Support services provided through. This position is responsible for the coordination of care across the continuum as well as overseeing nursing, home health aid, and private care services both at and the surrounding communities. The position functions in compliance with State and Federal Regulations, & policies, procedures, and standards.

Manages and oversees the daily operations of the Private Home Care/Home Support services, including daily schedules and supervision of staff relative to Home Support services, interaction with residents and family members and support systems and support for the clinical needs of residents throughout the continuum

Provides clinical case management to Independent Living residents across their continuum of care, attending care plan and family meetings, as applicable

In coordination with the Administrator, provide clinical oversight and management of the Certified Home Health agency in the absence of the Clinical Manager – Home Health

Collaborates on an ongoing basis with the Resident Care Manager and participates as a member of the Care Coordination committee

Conducts interdisciplinary team meetings to facilitate care coordination and facilitates interdisciplinary team communication

Serves as an on-call manager for the Home Support/Home Health departments on a rotating basis with other clinical leaders

Collaborates with local college nursing programs for clinical experiences

Serves as a member of the quality improvement committee and contributes to the establishment and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities

Follows all Emergency Management Plans and actively participates in fire and evacuation drills

Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements

Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment

Required Skills and Abilities

Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong customer support skills

Complies with protection of health information (HIPAA) safeguards

Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Work professionally with people from a wide variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with Team Members, Residents, family members, visitors, and the general public

When working in Resident areas, must be able to communicate effectively in English

Attends and participates in in-service educational classes, Healthcare Academy and staff meetings as directed

Education and Experience

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree

Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

5 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in a professional nursing role in a home health care setting (preferred)

Proficient with computer software programs

Satisfactory completion of a background investigation is required for this position.
