TalentWealth Recruiting, a boutique financial services recruiting firm, is recruiting for an exciting opportunity. An independent financial advisory practice located in Dexter, MI is hiring a Client Services Manager on their growing team.


The Client Service Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional client experience and supporting advisors in the delivery of financial planning and investment management services. This position is responsible for leading the client service team, managing day-to day client operations, and overseeing processes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across the firm. As part of a firm that runs on the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS), the Client Service Manager is expected to embrace accountability, align with company core values, and work within a clear structure of responsibilities and goals.


Key Responsibilities

Client Service Leadership & Operations

• Lead, mentor, and develop the client service team to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences.

• Oversee onboarding of new clients, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.

• Manage account maintenance requests (transfers, contributions, distributions, beneficiary changes, etc.).

• Partner with custodians and platforms to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

• Develop and document efficient workflows, standard operating procedures, and service benchmarks.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with client service standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies. Advisor & Financial Planning Support

• Assist advisors in preparing for client meetings, including financial planning briefs, customized reports, and scenario analysis.

• Conduct research on financial planning topics (e.g., equity compensation, RMDs, gifting strategies, charitable planning).

• Support execution of special client projects and initiatives that improve planning outcomes.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial planning tools, legislation, and best practices to enhance service delivery.


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.

• Series 65 or 66 preferred but not required.

• 2–5 years of experience in client service and financial planning.

• Experience with Fidelity.

• Experience with Advyzon CRM preferred.

• High attention to detail with strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Proficiency with portfolio management and financial planning software.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset.

• Proactive problem solver with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Alignment with company core values and ability to thrive in a firm that runs on EOS.
