Our client is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to support a growing Accounting department. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize competing deadlines, and a high level of accuracy. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both internal teams and external customers/vendors, providing excellent customer service while maintaining strong attention to detail.


Responsibilities:

  • Process rent rolls, invoices, receipts, and monthly AR updates
  • Manage AP functions, including coding, processing, and tracking invoices through P2P systems
  • Handle vendor onboarding, W‑9 collection, and banking approvals for ACH/wire payments
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations and assist with monthly close activities
  • Process property tax and utility bills in alignment with required deadlines
  • Support Senior Accountants with construction draw packages and special projects
  • Coordinate basic reporting, documentation, and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within commercial real estate, real estate development, or construction
  • Strong understanding of AP, AR, general ledger processes, and project/property‑level accounting
  • Experience with Yardi is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
