Our client, a community-focused nonprofit behavioral health organization, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join its outpatient clinical team in Northern Colorado. This role focuses on providing psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals experiencing a range of behavioral health conditions, including severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and co-occurring substance use disorders.
The position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care environment committed to community impact, professional development, and inclusive workplace culture. Positions may support general outpatient populations or adolescent specialty programs depending on experience.
Candidates must be able to work on-site in Northern Colorado. Relocation assistance is available. Our client can support candidates who are actively obtaining Colorado licensure, which typically takes approximately 4–6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical interviews, behavioral health screenings, psychological assessments, and psychological testing within outpatient programs.

Diagnose emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders using established clinical standards.

Develop individualized, developmentally appropriate treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, legal, and ethical requirements.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, staff training, and ongoing clinical development.

Provide supervision to doctoral interns when applicable.

Evaluate individuals requiring involuntary care and assist in monitoring short-term certification or involuntary commitment cases when required.
Required Qualifications

Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.

Active license to practice psychology in Colorado through the state regulatory authority or willingness to obtain licensure.

Ability to work on-site in Northern Colorado locations.

Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents for candidates interested in adolescent specialty services.

Bilingual or bicultural background strongly preferred.
Compensation & Work Model

Base Salary: $130,000 – $145,000
