Serving as an Evening RN, you’ll work onsite with a dedicated team to address a broad range of student health needs.
What you bring:
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in pediatric nursing (school-based experience is highly valued)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Sound clinical judgment and strong assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and responsiveness to meet dynamic health needs in an educational setting
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct nursing care to students during evening hours (3pm-11pm, Sunday through Thursday)
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physicians’ orders and applicable policies
- Manage medical emergencies and provide triage in real-time
- Maintain accurate documentation for student health encounters and medication administration
- Collaborate with other staff to create a safe, healthy school environment
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics as needed
- Work closely with families and care support systems to ensure ongoing wellness
This school nursing position runs through June 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week in a supportive academic environment.
