Crystal Lake Commercial Printer has an immediate opening and is currently seeking a Komori Press Operator to run our 24”X29” Komori LSX+CX.
Position Available: Press Operator (Komori LSX+CX)
Location: Crystal Lake, Illinois
Shift: First Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with 30-minute lunch break
Second Shift hours to be determined

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced/professional Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of process/spot-color press experience, preferably with knowledge in coating systems such as the Harris & Bruno Anilox coating system. Experience in heat seal/blister pack coatings is a plus. The candidate must be capable of producing accurate and high-quality work in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
o Communicate effectively with production staff regarding any issues or concerns
o Quality corrections are imperative, watching color throughout jobs
o Adapt to changes, new ideas, and company initiatives
o Exercise good judgment when problem-solving and exhibit logical and critical thinking skills
o Take initiative in generating new ideas and making improvements
o Collaborate with other departments to meet company goals
o Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to adhere to safety procedures
o Act proactively during daily tasks and staff meetings
o Monitor the accuracy and consistency of work produced
o Involvement in production scheduling
o Execute high-quality print production following established standards (e.g., GRACoL)
o Perform housekeeping duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
o Minimum five years of process/spot-color press experience
o Knowledge of Komori KMS Manage System, PDC-SII, KHS Software is a plus
o KMS Windows 10 PC Color Match Software
o Experience with coating systems (preferably Harris & Bruno Anilox coating system) is a plus
o Knowledge of heat seal/blister pack coatings for Form Fill and Seal equipment is advantageous
o Detail-oriented and quality-driven
o Strong mechanical aptitude is a must
o Ability to work effectively in a team environment
o Self-motivated and proactive
o Excellent organizational skills
