Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for full charge bookkeeping of a high-volume construction management company to include accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, general ledger, and payroll.
Role / Responsibilities
Utilize accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) to record, store, and analyze information.
Job cost accounting and ability to efficiently manage high project volume in an organized manner.
Reconcile cash accounts to bank statements.
Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
Process accounts receivable from entry to collection.
Process accounts payable from entry to payment.
Process payroll with 3rd party processor.
Make deposits for SIMPLE retirement account plan.
Prepare Excel sheets as necessary for tracking operational information.
Complete data entry tasks and manage extensive filing responsibilities.
Perform other duties as needed to support business operations.
Experience / Skills Required
High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 or more years’ relevant experience.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and comfort working with large amounts of physical documentation.
Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize among competing responsibilities.
Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
Experience / Skills Desired
Associate degree in accounting or higher.
Knowledge of PayDay Payroll.
