About the Role
COG Pharma is an early-stage healthcare distribution company seeking a founding growth and operations leader to help build the company from the ground up. This is not a maintenance role. We need a builder who can generate revenue, open accounts, create sales systems, manage daily execution, and help develop compliant healthcare distribution channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage sales pipeline, CRM, outreach, reporting, and account follow-up.
- Generate qualified leads and close accounts across approved healthcare, hospital, LTAC, veterinary, medical supply, and pharmacy-related channels where legally permitted.
- Secure decision-maker meetings, submit quotes/proposals, and convert prospects into purchasing accounts.
- Develop supplier/vendor relationships and identify profitable product categories.
- Create repeatable systems for outreach, quoting, onboarding, customer management, and weekly reporting.
- Work directly with ownership to move the company toward revenue generation and profitability.
Performance Expectations
This is a performance-driven role with weekly KPI reviews. The candidate is expected to create revenue opportunities within the first 30 days and help move the company toward monthly profitability within 60-90 days.
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of B2B sales, healthcare sales, pharmaceutical distribution, medical supply, veterinary supply, pharmacy, logistics, or related growth experience preferred.
- Strong closer with ability to speak with executives, owners, administrators, purchasing managers, pharmacy directors, veterinarians, and facility decision-makers.
- Able to build systems from scratch and work without micromanagement.
- Comfortable with regulated healthcare channels, compliance boundaries, and performance accountability.
- High-energy, organized, entrepreneurial, and motivated by building something long-term.
Employment Terms
This is a full-time, at-will position. Continued employment will depend on performance, business needs, compliance, and overall fit. COG Pharma is an equal opportunity employer.
