Our organization is looking for dedicated full-time Hospitalists to become part of the Hospital Medicine team at Samaritan Hospital, situated in Troy, NY. This is a fantastic chance to integrate into a well-established hospital medicine program.

Work Schedule

Hospitalist nocturnists will follow a 7 on/7 off schedule, working 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Our facility operates under a closed ICU model, with 24/7 in-house intensivist support. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are also integral members of our team.

Facilities and Support

A dedicated hospitalist workspace is conveniently located within the Emergency Department, facilitating effective communication and care coordination. Additionally, on-site administrative, IT, and case management support are readily available.

Qualifications

Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and must be eligible to obtain licensure in New York State, along with a DEA registration. We welcome new graduates to apply, but please note that we are not accepting candidates requiring J1 or H1B visas.

Compensation and Benefits

Our organization provides a comprehensive salary and compensation package, which includes:

• A starting salary range that reflects total compensation, excluding productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other cash compensation relevant to the role.
• A starting bonus of $40,000.
