Safety Specialist - Manufacturing
This newly created position will support two local plants totaling (400) employees in the Cleveland area.&nbsp;This role will be a member of the EHS Department and will report to the EHS Manager.&nbsp;This role will work closely with facility supervisors and support them. This is a fast-paced and challenging production facility due to the complexity of their operations.&nbsp;Outstanding career growth into other EHS leadership roles within larger facilities or corporate and divisional locations.&nbsp;
&nbsp;Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist in identifying, developing, and delivering safety training</li>
<li>Provide incident investigation, including root cause analysis, recommendations, and follow-up&nbsp;</li>
<li>Primary focus on safety prevention</li>
<li>Conduct behavior training related to human performance safety issues</li>
<li>Assure all safety and environmental compliance issues are current</li>
<li>Work with leadership to improve and promote safety culture</li>
</ul>
Key Requirements Include:
<ul>
<li>At least two years of safety experience (manufacturing operations)</li>
<li>Related Bachelor of Science Safety degree or related field</li>
<li>Possess passion and tenacity on proactive safety</li>
<li>Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines</li>
