Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the deployment of in-building wireless infrastructure and low-voltage systems across the tri-state area. This role will focus heavily on the installation and delivery of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), fiber optic backbone infrastructure, and structured cabling within commercial construction and retrofit environments. The Construction Manager will oversee all phases of wireless infrastructure deployment, including site surveys, design review, material coordination, installation oversight, and project closeout. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact between customers, wireless teams, internal departments, and field personnel to ensure successful project delivery.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage full lifecycle deployment of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and wireless infrastructure projects.
  • Review DAS designs including antenna layouts, coax and fiber routing, headend locations, and equipment requirements.
  • Coordinate installation of DAS components including:
  • Antennas
  • Coaxial cabling
  • Fiber optic backbone
  • Headend equipment
  • IDF/MDF equipment rooms
  • Conduct site walks to validate DAS design feasibility, pathway availability, and installation conditions.
  • Oversee installation crews performing DAS and structured cabling work.
  • Coordinate closely with RF engineers, integrators, and internal teams to ensure proper system deployment.
  • Manage structured cabling infrastructure including Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic installations.
  • Coordinate pathway installation including conduit, cable tray, sleeves, and penetrations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent wireless and infrastructure projects.
  • Develop project schedules, labor plans, and deployment timelines.
  • Ensure installations meet design specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and schedule updates.
  • Coordinate material procurement, delivery, and staging.
  • Work with subcontractors and installation partners to maintain schedule and quality.
  • Assist with system testing coordination, punch list completion, and project closeout.
  • Support turnover of completed systems for integration, commissioning, and activation.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, DAS, or low-voltage infrastructure installation.
  • 2+ years of experience managing wireless or infrastructure deployment projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) installation practices.
  • Experience with DAS infrastructure including:
  • Fiber optic cabling
  • Coaxial cabling
  • Antenna mounting
  • Headend buildouts
  • Strong structured cabling experience including:
  • Backbone fiber
  • Horizontal cabling
  • MDF / IDF buildouts
  • Ability to read and interpret:
  • DAS designs
  • RF design drawings
  • Floor plans
  • Riser diagrams
  • Understanding of wireless infrastructure environments in commercial buildings.
  • Experience coordinating field crews and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of cabling pathways including conduit, cable tray, and penetrations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Salary: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Location: Tri-State Area
