A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) located in El Dorado Hills, CA, focused on providing high-quality care within a school setting. This role entails working with pediatric and school-aged populations to address speech and language disorders through comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans targeting specific speech and language goals
- Delivering effective therapy sessions and monitoring patient progress with detailed documentation
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-coordinated care
- Engaging families in the therapy process to support student outcomes
Qualifications include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in the respective state and possess or be pursuing a Masters Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
