The Tint Operator is responsible for accurately preparing and tinting coating products to meet customer order specifications and quality standards. This role ensures precise color matching, proper documentation, and timely fulfillment of production and shipping requirements. The Tint Operator maintains equipment, supports inventory accuracy, and adheres to all safety and operational procedures to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Prepare, document, and tint orders according to customer specifications.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
· Operate and maintain tinting and mixing equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
· Receive daily production shipments and stock materials in designated bins as required.
· Perform daily cycle counts within assigned areas to support inventory accuracy and assist with full physical counts.
· Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and gloves).
· Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers.
· Monitor and replenish shipping supplies to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate scanners and label machines.
· Ability to safely operate a forklift and/or order picker.
· Working knowledge of RF scanner systems.
