Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents while working with a collaborative education team. With a well-structured Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you’ll provide both direct and indirect therapy services—without additional duties like bus duty or parent pickup.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state
  • Experience delivering therapy services in schools, preferably K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of IEPs and special education processes
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and varying needs
  • Commitment to documentation and compliance standards

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional abilities within the school environment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions directly to students and consult with educational staff
  • Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough records
  • Serve as a resource for school personnel about sensory and motor skills development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-focused planning
