VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
The primary role of the position is to park and retrieve automobiles for members and guests in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
In this role you will (but not limited to):
• Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner
• Assist guests in and out of automobiles
• Direct guests to the appropriate location of the function they are attending
• Park automobiles in an organized fashion for efficient retrieval
• Issue and collect automobile claim tickets
• Inform guests of road and weather conditions, as well as any problems detected with the car (low fuel, breaks, etc.)
• Prevent unauthorized entry
Qualifications & Skills:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions on given assignments
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to remain upright throughout an entire shift
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests
• Ability to operate motor vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
• Organizational skills to ensure that keys are easy to retrieve and vehicles are simple to locate
• Ability to move quickly to reduce the wait for guests
• Knowledge of the area to answer guests’ questions
• Communication skills to interact with other Valets and provide instructions to guests
• Ability to move heavy objects to aid in the loading and unloading of vehicles
