Job Title: Execution Planning Engineer II / III
Location: Midland, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/week | ~95% Office / ~5% Field
Position Overview
We are seeking an Execution Planning Engineer III with 10–15 years of oil & gas project experience to support upstream operations in the Delaware Basin. This role focuses on execution planning, cost/schedule alignment, and regulatory deliverables while leading OIMS/EMCAPS stewardship, mentoring engineers, and ensuring project safety and efficiency.Key Responsibilities
- Support PSMS principles to eliminate Life Altering Hurts.
- Lead execution planning: cost, schedule, permitting, scope, procurement, and execution strategy.
- Track and resolve pre-G3 deliverables and schedule changes across stakeholders.
- Drive OIMS/EMCAPS stewardship, including gate review prep, design & execution plan development, and change management.
- Represent Delaware Projects in development alignment efforts, early LLE identification, and regulatory coordination.
- Mentor Execution Engineers, support PCM/LS2Spud work processes, and participate in permitting/ALT/IWT/DUR meetings.
- Conduct limited field walks and submit safety observations.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or related technical field.
- 10–15 years’ experience in project execution/planning (Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Execution Engineer).
- Strong background in cost/schedule management, regulatory deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrated leadership in PSMS, OIMS, EMCAPS, and project safety.
