Join our team in the pursuit of delivering exceptional benefits and healthcare services to Veterans who have earned them! Our organization is currently in search of a skilled Cardiologist to become part of our well-established program located in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Position Highlights:
- A high-complexity VA Medical Center equipped with extensive resources serving central Indiana.
- Opportunity to enhance the Cardiology imaging program; proficiency in interpreting transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) and performing transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), including intraprocedural TEE for structural heart interventions, is preferred.
- Work schedule from Monday to Friday with minimal on-call duties.
- Onsite access to Clinical Pharmacists.
- A dedicated, patient-centered team that includes Nurse Practitioners.
- An advanced Cardiac center featuring Cath/Electrophysiology labs, Cardiac Surgery, and imaging facilities.
- Involvement in a Cardiology fellowship program and teaching service, with potential for an academic appointment.
- Located in a vibrant and affordable city, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Cardiology fellowship.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
- A current, unrestricted medical or surgical license to practice in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
