Paragon Tempered Glass, LLC, is a specialty fabricator offering custom glass solutions to numerous markets from two U.S.-based facilities. Products include both flat and bent tempered glass to meet demanding expectations of strength, thermal and aesthetic quality.

SUMMARY:
We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead a team on either the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. The shift offered will depend on the candidate’s experience. In this role, the production supervisor will guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. In a fast-paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The goal is to ensure that production processes profitably deliver products of maximum quality.
YOUR ROLE:
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Closely supervise employees on assigned shift through coaching and training to meet specific goals for each production line/area.
- Understands the operation of the machinery and job tasks on the production line.
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
- Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained by all direct reports.
- Enforce the Company work rules and administer progressive discipline as necessary per established guidelines.
- Assists direct reports in maintaining a safe and accident-free work environment.
- Evaluate the performance of direct reports and provide constructive feedback for employment growth.
Identify process improvement opportunities and help with implementation - Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Help coordinate the flow of production between shifts, communicating relevant information about production activities and potential issues.

Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Operate with a sense of positive energy and urgency.
- Ability to work effectively in both a team and an autonomous environment.
- Able to adapt to the company’s culture, work safely, and possess a positive attitude.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma; Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- The ability to lift (from floor to waist level), push, and pull 50 pounds.
- The capacity to stand and walk for prolonged durations on concrete surfaces, with frequent intervals of stooping, bending, or sitting.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Monday through Friday, minimum 40 hours; weekend overtime as required.
