Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality oral care and preventive hygiene services while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for patients. This role is essential in promoting long-term dental health and supporting overall patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
•Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures
•Conduct oral health assessments and review patient medical histories
•Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
•Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
•Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
•Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols
•Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
•Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the State of Hawaii (required)
•Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
•Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
•Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing procedures
•Ability to perform patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring
•Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology is a plus
•Pediatric dental experience preferred
•Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered, compassionate approach
