Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm – 7am)
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week (option for 48 hours on request)
- Float within skillset; cross-campus float with notice (primary location, nearby campuses)
- Three weekends required per six-week period, alternating holidays
Qualifications:
- Active compact RN license
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including 1 year in stepdown and previous travel assignment
- Recent trauma level II experience
- Proficient with EPIC charting (assessment required)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills; adaptability and excellent teamwork
Required Skills:
- Telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation (must pass required tests)
- Initiation and titration of drips (antiarrhythmics, Heparin, Insulin)
- Post-surgical assessment and care
- NIHSS/neuro assessments, dysphagia screen
Preferred Experience:
- Stable home vents, pleural/pericardial and lumbar drains, VP shunts, Narcan drips
Responsibilities:
