Job Summary:
This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will maintain professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients, assess the effectiveness of care from other caregivers, and collaborate with various departments to coordinate patient care. Upholding patient rights and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information is essential.
Requirements:
- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
- Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, including meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit.
- Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Prolonged standing and walking are necessary, along with the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of job duties.
