Experienced Tax Preparer & Reviewer (Remote)
Annual Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 depending on experience with performance bonuses
We are a growing income tax practice seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, dependable, and thrives in a proactive advisory role while delivering accurate and timely results.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and review individual income tax returns using CCH or other top-tier tax software.
- Develop tax plans and projections with CCH Access projection software for individual clients.
- Research complex tax issues using tools like CCH AnswerConnect, ChatGPT, and other advanced resources.
- Work quickly, efficiently, and resourcefully while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Provide advisory guidance to clients as part of our tax planning and strategy process.

- Proven track record of reliability, competence, and integrity.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax law, with advanced software proficiency.
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly and professionally.
- Interest in a long-term relationship that could lead to practice succession.

Prior to owning my business, I was employed for 8 years in private industry accounting and 4 years in public accounting and then decided to move on and start my own practice. I have lived in Boulder Valley for the past 30 years and am married with 4 children.
