JOB SUMMARYThis Servicing Oversight Specialist role is responsible for managing inquiries and escalations, conducting detailed loan reviews, and ensuring timely resolution within defined SLAs. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of mortgage servicing and client services experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely support for inquiries and escalations, ensuring resolution within SLAs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior management to coordinate responses and follow-ups.
- Monitor internal reporting tools to identify and manage new inquiries and escalations.
- Conduct detailed reviews of mortgage loans, particularly those in early to late-stage delinquency.
- Partner with external vendors to track and respond to escalations efficiently.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to monitor inquiry volumes, response times, aging, and trends.
- Assess reported issues for potential client impact and facilitate appropriate communications.
- Provide backup support to other members of the Servicing Oversight team as needed.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and assist management with servicing oversight initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Mortgage servicing experience is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in client services and mortgage servicing, including loan onboarding, loan administration, and default management.
- 1+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of escrow, insurance and tax tracking, payment processing, etc.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory guidelines related to mortgage servicing.
- Ability to meet turn time commitments in a high-volume environment.
- College degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred knowledge of mortgage servicing tools, including MSP / Director.
- Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to work independently.
