Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An ECSE Teacher position is available in Minneapolis, MN, focusing on supporting young children aged birth to 2 years with special education needs. This contract role offers a consistent 37.5 hours per week spread over five days, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on a small caseload of approximately 12 students.
Qualifications:
- Valid ECSE (SPED) Teacher certification required
- Experience working with early childhood special education is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to children aged birth to 2 years with developmental delays or disabilities
- Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each childs needs
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student development
- Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress regularly
