Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A middle school Special Education Teacher position is available to support students with diverse learning needs in an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. This contract role for the uping school year offers an opportunity to positively impact the academic and social development of students requiring specialized instruction.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with middle school-aged students.
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching skills.
• Collaboration skills to work effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and families.

Location:

• Middle school setting in the McMinnville, TN area.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction to students with disabilities, utilizing best practices and differentiated teaching methods.
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet individual learning goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure pliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation supporting student achievements.
