Job DescriptionWe're hiring an Entry Level Lab Technician to our team! This is a contract position minimum of 6 months, could go longer and permanent for the right candidate.

Contract to potenial hire position.
Part Time : Monday - Friday 5pm - 10pm
Pay: $21/HR + 10% Shift Differential = $23.00/HR

As a Lab Technician, you will partner with our Calibration Department to calibrate laser measurement sensors and meters.

You Will Make an Impact By:
• Conduct calibration of instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Document calibration results, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all calibration activities for audit and compliance purposes
• Regularly inspect, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment to detect and correct any deviations from standard performance
• Ensure all calibration activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, adhering to industry best practices and company policies
• Keep calibration tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are properly stored, cleaned, and maintained
• Travel Requirements: None.

Skills You Bring:
• Associate degree, military technical training, equivalent vocational training or work experience
• 0-1 year of related experience required
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required

Preferred Skills: (Optional)
• Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems helpful
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
• Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time
• Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
• Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
