Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and inspecting lithium-ion battery packs and related components. You will contribute to the production line installation, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Assemble lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and power-electronics sub-assemblies.
- Perform electrical, functional, and visual inspections on components and finished products.
- Assist with production line installation and workstation setup as needed.
- Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.
- Identify and report defects, test failures, safety concerns, or process issues.
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-controlled work area.

- Experience in production and assembly

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in electronics or manufacturing preferred
- Experience with soldering, wiring, ESD controls, and electrical testing preferred
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery handling and safety practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
Work Environment
Work in a team-oriented environment where safety and quality are prioritized. Utilize state-of-the-art tools and equipment, including multimeters and power supplies, in an ESD-controlled setting. Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
