What We’re Looking For


As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll be a key part of our operations team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our retail customers. You will handle face-to-face interactions with customers who are not only seeking products but Action’s expertise. This team-oriented role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to exceptional service. Effective communication is essential, as you’ll work closely with other team members to provide comprehensive solutions to customers and relay their needs to outside sales representatives.


Your Responsibilities

  • Report promptly to work each day.
  • Engage with customers in person through our retail store front.
  • Understand the needs of the customer to provide consultation on products and services
  • Identify up-sell opportunities.
  • Document customer interactions through CRM software to manage opportunities and communicate with outside sales team when applicable.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services.
  • Partner with the team to ensure all customer inquiries, quotes, and orders are fulfilled.
  • Manage store inventory levels.
  • Perform daily store opening and closing duties.
  • Assist with inbound customer phone calls, emails, and text messages when necessary.

Requirements:

What Experience and Qualifications do you Need?

  • Energetic, organized self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • The ability to calmly and professionally multitask.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new things.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.
  • High level of grit and personal integrity.
  • A follow-up and follow-through personality.
  • Heart to always do the right thing and admit mistakes (they will happen and its ok).
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work and educational experience.
  • 1+ year customer service or retail experience preferred.
