The Role Project Manager
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager the mission of this role is to take 100% responsibility for managing and deliveringsoldprojects for BlastOne BIS Division. Responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget and with highest customer satisfaction.
- Maintain projectscope,schedule,andbudgetfrom sales handover to customer acceptance
- Assess project risks andcoordinateplan to mitigate
- Identifycritical path itemsandcoordinateexecutionto schedule
- Develop and communicateproject schedule with key milestone dates to external and internal customers
- Track and communicate variances in budgetthroughout project life cycle
- Develop material and operational improvements with the customerto deliver superior qualitysystems
- Coordinate schedule executionto milestone dates with internal BIS groups including engineering, controlsystems,purchasingand procurement, assembly, testing, quality,logisticsand technical services
- Forecast all project materials and services for expected date that Costs of Goods Sold (COGS) and relatedRecognized Revenue/Earned Valuebased on key milestone completion dates
- Act askey contact andface of BlastOneexpertisein communications with customers
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in managing capital projects for industrial facilities and/or equipment supply
- Experience with management of installation,startup,and commissioning of industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of project managementmethodology
- Strong understanding of industrial projects and equipment
- Hason time, on budgetdelivery experienceto a client rather than just an internal team
- BachelorsinBusiness Administration, Construction Management or related discipline
