Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Neuro ICU / Intermediate Care (IMCU) unit. The role involves caring for high-acuity neurological patients and floating between ICU and step-down units based on patient needs.

Unit Details:

• Specialty: Neuro ICU & IMCU (Stepdown)
• Patient Ratios:
  • ICU: 1:1 – 1:2
  • Stepdown: 1:3 – 1:4
• Floating: Required between ICU and IMCU

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill neurological patients
• Perform advanced assessments and continuous monitoring
• Manage patients requiring ICU-level and stepdown care
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure adherence to patient safety and infection control protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN License (state-specific as applicable)
• Minimum 2+ years of Neuro ICU or IMCU experience
• Strong neurological critical care experience (must be clearly reflected on profile)
• Experience working in high-acuity hospital settings

Required Certifications:

• Relevant nursing certifications (e.g., BLS/ACLS as applicable)
